African print swimwear or beach wear is let’s see, somewhere
in my top 5 in my wardrobe wish list right now. I have been ogling at this
brand…Lalesso for some time and I trying to figure
out how I can get my hands on a piece. Lalesso when are you coming to Uganda?
Lalesso originally named “La Kanga” is an African fashion
brand founded in 2005 by Olivia Kennaway and Alice Heusser and it is best known
for its use of the East-African Kanga in creating chic summer resort clothing
This line here is from Lalesso Resort 2015 and let’s just
say I am in love, I have a deep love for light fabrics and flowy clothing, and
aren’t these pastel tribal and kanga print fabrics just gorgeous? I am also in all support of any innovative
African business that seeks to export our cultural heritage as something trendy
for the modern man or woman. I also love the beautiful simplicity in all these
pieces.
And isn’t this photo shoot all that? The geometric shapes in
the background and the angles are just amazing. Love love love, kudos Lalesso!
