Over-sized Tee's and Gratitude

blue oversized t-shirt (5,000 from flee market) old cut-off jeans, plaid printed vans (gifted from sister) silver chain necklace (shop downtown)

Between all the hard work, and striving for more, and constantly turning pages and evolving Its hard to find time to be grateful for where you’re are at. When you’re so focused on a future goal and all you want to see is yourself at the end point it difficult and sometimes close to impossible to still carry gratitude around with you, and find it in yourself to be content, at least with how far you’ve gotten.

I’m finding out more that everyone is on a journey, riding on their own personal aspirations, and it’s important to be grateful for where you are and where they have reached. It’s easy that way, we carry less harsh judgments of who we are and who other people are when we understand we’re all going through our on daily hustle…were all on a journey.

Constantly being grateful for the little things we gather and are blessed to experience along the way is very important I think.

The journey is as important as the end goal. Sometimes I think our ultimate aspirations and desires are like a sunset in the distance that stretches over the horizon so vividly ahead of us and yet we will never be able to grasp it. Sometimes I think the journey is even more important than the end goal, and we must constantly be grateful for how far we have come.

Today I’m grateful for getting over my first year of IB (my people in this struggle know that’s a helluva lot), I’m grateful for beginning this blog, I’m grateful for the opportunity to pursue fashion and help people at the same time, I’m grateful for my aspirations to be true to myself, and the possibilities of living creatively, I’m grateful for my little successes and the halfway landmarks I’ve reached in my daily dilemmas.

So today I’m smiling in an oversized t-shirt that I thought would fit perfectly but just sort of hanged with no shape or form…but is soo comfy (still looking for the perfect t-shirt), some cutoff shorts from an old pair of pants I hated the color of, and a pair of sneaks gifted from my sister that I have never really worn…and I’m grateful, I thank God for every moment.
Thanks for reading my forever random thoughts
Xx Kae- stay inspired
